My third graders came in quietly, followed directions, paid attention, and tried their best! I am very proud of their excellent choices! They have earned 12 marbles for compliments...on the FIRST day!
We set up our desks, looked up the moon's phase for each student's birthday using our Smartboard, and we practiced procedures. It takes time to learn the third grade ropes, but we had a great start today.

This has been a great first week of school. We love Mrs. Brown because she is funny and she makes school fun. We liked looking up our birthdays on the moon calendar. Each compliment we receive equals a marble. When we have earned 100 marbles, we'll have a special treat. We made good choices and have already earned 35 marbles. I bet we are going to have a wonderful school year with our new friends and our teacher!
